Pairing VRA with weed mapping can dramatically reduce input costs of herbicides. With cm level mapping precision, we can spray only where needed. Pictured to the left is a 57 acre corn field in growing stage V3. 73.2% of the field was acceptable while 14.5% was considered low weed pressure and 12.3% considered high weed pressure. Pairing a precise weed map with aerial application resulted in saving over $800 in chemical by applying precisely only where needed.
